Return & Refund Policy
Thank you for shopping with Excitink! Each of our books is carefully crafted and personalized just for your child. Because of this, we have specific policies regarding returns, cancellations, and refunds.
📦 Non-Returnable & Final Sale Items
All personalized products — including books featuring your child’s name, photo, and any selected options — are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
We kindly ask that you review all personalization details carefully before completing your order. Once the book enters production, it cannot be changed or cancelled.
❌ Cancellations & Edits
Orders cannot be changed or cancelled after they’ve been submitted, as they go into automated production shortly after purchase. If you notice a mistake immediately after ordering, please email us within 1 hour at hi@excitink.com. While we cannot guarantee changes, we’ll do our best to help if production hasn’t started yet.
💥 Damaged, Incorrect, or Faulty Items
If your book arrives with a printing error, damage, or if you received the wrong item, please email us within 7 days of receiving your order. Include:
- Your order number
- A clear photo of the issue
- Any relevant details
If approved, we will send you a corrected replacement at no additional cost.
🇪🇺 EU Customers
Under the European Union’s 14-day “cooling-off” period, non-customized goods can be returned within 14 days of delivery. However, personalized items (such as Excitink books) are exempt from this rule and cannot be returned unless faulty or damaged.
🎁 Gift Orders & Digital Products
We currently do not offer gift cards, digital products, or gift wrap options. Therefore, these return terms apply exclusively to physical personalized books.
💳 Refunds
Refunds are only granted in the case of damaged, misprinted, or incorrect items. Once we receive and inspect your claim, we’ll notify you of approval. If approved:
- Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
- Processing may take up to 10 business days
- Bank or credit card providers may take additional time to reflect the refund
If more than 15 business days have passed and you haven't received your refund, contact us at hi@excitink.com.
